The great Serbian, internationally renowned pianist Aleksandar Madžar, was born in 1968 in Belgrade. His musical journey began at the age of six under the mentorship of Gordana Malinović, and he later continued his education with world famous pianists and professors Arbo Valdma, Elisso Virsaladze, and Daniel Blumenthal in Novi Sad, Belgrade, Moscow, and Brussels. His virtuosity and immense musical talent have earned him numerous awards at prestigious international piano competitions, including Geneva, Leeds, Ferruccio Busoni, and Umberto Micheli.
In 1990, he made his debut with the Berlin Philharmonic under the baton of Iván Fischer, captivating a worldwide audience. Since then, Madžar has performed globally, enjoying a rich career with outstanding solo and chamber recitals, as well as performances with the most distinguished orchestras, conducted by luminaries such as Paavo Järvi, Andris Nelsons,…
