Barja and Bojan are members of the Slovenian based band “Terrafolk” (BBC World Music Award). Bojan is a founder of international ‘Symbolic Orchestra’ and was a violinist-soloist at the Cirque du Soleil show ‘Varekai’. They are classically trained violinists that travel and learn diverse violin languages. Is it possible to perform a set of European folk from the Balkans music to Celtic tunes, original compositions and some virtuoso covers in the way that those cultures also belong together? Terrafolk proved it in hundreds of performances. Their music is searching for the points that different cultures have in common.

The duo performs also a set for traditional ‘Balfolk’ dances or classical crossover recital with a piano player David Gordon (UK). A wonderful touch with the live audience is their strong point rather than studio/internet music…
